2019 PenSPRA Symposium Gets High Grades from Attendees
The results are in for the 2019 PenSPRA Symposium! Overall, the 2019 PenSPRA Symposium was a success, with over 86% of respondents rating the event as either excellent (44.44%) or very good (42.22%); and, 13.33% rating it as good. By far, Andrea Gribble's afternoon presentation was the favorite, with over 86% of respondents rating her session as above average; followed by Show Your APPtitude (63.64%); and, Trish Rubin (48.89%).
The respondents also provided good suggestions for improvements for next year, including more sessions and more time for in-depth presentations and hands-on activities. Respondents were mixed on changing the location but leaned more towards keeping it at Shippensburg, with 26% wanting a different location; 37% opting to stay at Shippensburg; and 37% unsure. However, just about all of the attendees like the Shippensburg Conference Center and the hotel accommodations with 97.68% rating facilities as excellent (44.19%) or very good (53.49%).
Speaking of respondents, 45 out of the 61 attendees (or 74% of attendees) completed the survey with a 93% completion rate. And, we have eight members who have volunteered to be on the 2020 Symposium Planning Committee.
